DAY-3 Fashion Week Alabama VIP Mixer Promotes Fashion, Supports Charity

The Alabama Fashion Alliance’s (AFA) Fashion Week Alabama 2018 VIP Mixer & Runway Show will take place Friday, March 2, at the BMW Century Auto Showroom, located at 3810 University Drive in Huntsville, AL.  The event will mark Day-3 of the 7-year running Fashion Week, and will showcase emerging fashion designers, and support the charities Not One More Alabama (notonemorealabama.org), and The Blossomwood Foundation (www.blossomwoodfoundation.org).  

The evening’s festivities kick off at 7pm with reception & red-carpet photo ops, followed by runway collections by designers Terrell Kimbrough, Style-of-Styles, Nashville, TN and Dzene “Jenny” Juceviciute of Huntsville, AL and founder of The Blossomwood Foundation.  Other features include the 2018-19 Fashion Week Alabama Next Top Model Walk-off where model contestants compete to be the promotional face for AFA, and Avant Garde Fashion Design Challenge, gallery-style, featuring creative works from 11 year old designer Jordan Hobbs of Mobile, AL, and Huntsville/Madison’s Fashion Designer, Laverne Braithwaite (C’est Laverne/Sewing for Today), Artist & Designer, Willette Battle (Willette’s Prism at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment), Textile Artist & Designer, Dennis Potter (Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment), Artist, Designer, Philanthropist Dzene “Jenny” Juceviciute, Annalise Bonner, student at James Clemens High School, and Jennifer LyAnne Peacock, Auburn University of Montgomery student.
